In Santa Barbara there is an estate that has been turned
into a 37 acre botanical garden. The garden is called Ganna Walska Lotusland. My
wonderful cousin, Diana, bought me a tour of the gardens and this past Sunday in
April and I took the tour. Here are the images I took of the gardens. As you can see
most of the blooms this time of the year are the cactuses starting to flower and
that the lotuses will not be open until June. I will go back again in June to
take some more images of the lotus pond.
